Saludos Beloved, I'm Dra. Rocío

I'm a Mother, a Seer, a medicine woman in the Q'ero Inca lineage, a Counseling Psychology Ph.D., and a matriarch. I walk and work in between the earthly and spiritual realms.

My previous life was as a therapist and a professor in the mainstream, working the way we have all been programmed to work: disconnected, constantly producing, hiding my spiritual gifts to survive in the western world. Overworking was my norm...until my body said no more. That self-denial led to a health collapse and a chronic disability. I had earned tenure. I was fired anyway. And it was that earth-shattering experience that brought me back to the sacred ways.

My path now weaves ancestral and new ways to meet the prophecy of these times, rooted in Earth and Cosmic wisdom and in the love of our Earth Mother. I reject the colonial, capitalist, patriarchal ways, and I also know how easily we fall to the programming, because there was a time I did not have this consciousness either. That's why I can meet you with guidance, truth telling, and compassion rather than shame. My vow as a medicine woman is to help restore harmony and balance, personally and collectively. That is why I offer this work to you.

1. I am clear about the need for us to do our work in a way that does not manipulate nor exploit others, nor yourself. Right relationship, integrity, ethics, and sacred reciprocity are instrumental to helping us shift our society to a new paradigm and to a better world. 

 

2. I believe success & wellness do not have to look like the colonial capitalist patriarchal versions we’ve been sold. We can embody and align with the divine. As big as your heart is, you need to work in a way that honors your energetic and emotional capacity. This is not just about mindset, but about somatics, and processing the emotional, psychological, energetic layers & unlearning the colonial patriarchal programming that has us colluding with our own oppression.
