Saludos Beloved, I'm Dra. Rocio
I am a Xicana/Mexicana Seer, spiritual guide, initiated medicine woman, & Counseling Psychology Ph.D., on the Ñusta Paqo path in the Q’ero Inca lineage. I come from a matriarchal lineage and my medicine is very much rooted in the feminine, in matriarchal medicine, and in the Earth and cosmic ways. My work is potent because of the gifts and channel the divine has given me and because of the powerful ancestors, matriarchs, & guides that show up with me.
The purpose of my work is to support you on your journey and to provide guidance that cultivates holistic wellness, connects you to a deeper sense of spirituality, and brings you back to your ancestors, guides, and your own wisdom & medicine so that together we live in harmony and balance with all of Creation.
I have more than 20 years of professional experience as a healer & teacher, and am able to hold potent healing space for others as this is a skill in my blood lineage, with my abuelita and my mama as my greatest teachers. In my training as a counseling psychologist, I provided and practiced thousands of hours of therapy. While I decided against licensure, I value the skills I acquired through my practice and the mentorship provided by BIPOC psychologists, like Dr. Jeanett Castellanos, Dr. Thomas Parham, & the Godfather of Black Psychology, Dr. Joe White amongst others. The direct practice and mentorship I was honored to receive taught me a psychology & therapy that centered the people, an Indigenous worldview, and liberation.
My previous work was as a therapist and professor, but my path now weaves ancestral ways and new ways to meet the prophecy of these times. My work is deeply rooted in Earth and Cosmic wisdom. I walk and work in between the earthly and spiritual realms as a claircognizant, clairvoyant, clairsentient, and clairaudient. I come from a long line of healers and was born with psychic, channeling, and mediumship gifts.
I am able to see beyond this ordinary reality to bring forth the highest timelines and visions into our earthly reality. I am grateful to my teachers, Pampamesayoq Don Alejandro Apaza, Don Justino Apaza, & Mesa Carrier and Medicine Woman Marilu Shinn for helping me remember. The vow I’ve taken as a medicine woman and the agreement my soul has made in this lifetime is to help restore harmony and balance to the world, personally & collectively. And that’s why I offer this work to you.
My intention was not to work or create a business, but to share the knowledge that I had acquired, lived, and earned. And after some time, people begin asking about how they can work with me. This is how my sacred work and business developed, through service, through abundance and generosity, through the people. And while I deeply know my work now is divinely aligned, and I was now able to have more freedom, I ended up recreating the same toxic work habits. I even held some shame about having a business. Maybe you can relate? There are so many unspoken "rules" that were created by the patriarchy so that we oppress ourselves....so that those that are leaders and healing practitioners keep themselves in a loop of exhaustion. I wonder if you can begin to see why they designed it this way...
While we may no longer work within the system, and experience liberation from the institutions, we may also fall into the trap of being free to oppress ourselves. What do I mean? We recreate the same oppressive ways of working if we do not do our inner work, if we do not align with the divine, if we do not unlearn the unconscious beliefs that keep us hustling and grinding and dishonoring our capacity.
Maybe this has been you too? I am grateful for my body teaching me once again how to be in right relationship with myself and in alignment with the divine and I feel called to help other seasoned healers, guides, and leaders experience and embody this too. I realize now that the physical symptoms I was experiencing were signs that were inviting me to shift into a sacred pace and embrace & honor my needs too. I realize now that it is not out of integrity to have a business and that it can be a vehicle to not only support my family, but my community, and amplify and support the work of others who are birthing a new paradigm. We can honor our needs & show up for the collective, this is how we embody liberation, and this is the journey I invite you into.
For a long time, I worked at a toxic pace. It's what is encouraged in the mainstream. Maybe you can relate? As a matriarch, a healing practitioner, an empath, and daughter of Mexican immigrants...talk about layers of conditioning...it is no wonder then that I have had a complicated relationship with work. Most of my life I have worked beyond my capacity, overextended myself, exploited myself, and extracted from my medicine. Ouch, I know. It's what was modeled and what became the norm from me. I come from a lineage of matriarchs, from parents and grandparents that lived in poverty, raised by a single mother, and from a Mexican culture that is often lauded, read exploited, for their work ethic. There were so many harmful messages I received about work, about caring for others, and this all eventually ended in a health collapse.
I worked at a pace that my body couldn't keep up with, and almost lost it all. I developed a chronic disability and was pushed out of my former career as a tenured psychology professor. I experienced a symbolic death, a dark night of the soul. I became ill because this wasn’t my path, because I was limiting my life force, because I was exploiting my body. Surrendering to this journey allowed me to go within to reflect on what got me there. Through an intense death and rebirth, I was able to identify the programming and the patterns that kept me colluding with my own oppression. I learned that I was forcing myself to tolerate a toxic work environment and had been indoctrinated into toxic work habits. I realized the heaviness I was feeling, and the physical pain that I was enduring, were related to trying to force myself to be in a way that was not natural to me, trying to push away my gifts, working and living in a way that honored everyone else but me, depleting my vitality because it is not where I was meant to be and how I was meant to live.
When I recovered from this health collapse, I heard my ancestors tell me, you can't die with what you have inside you. I guess I needed to hear that? I had given up on working and ever sharing my gifts. But, when I heard them speak to me, I begin sharing my work publicly, as they instructed.
The world needs your visionary work,
but NOT at your expense.
How i do it differently & What makes this program Unique
1. I am clear about the need for us to do our work and business in a way that does not manipulate nor exploit others, nor yourself. Right relationship, integrity, ethics, and sacred reciprocity are instrumental to a new paradigm.
2. I believe success & wellness do not have to look like the colonial capitalist patriarchal versions we’ve been sold. We can embody and align with the divine. We do not have to consent to hyperindividualism, fragmentation, hyperproductivity, separation from our families and communities, and disconnection from our natural rhythms. Exploitation and extraction are not the only paths to success and shifting away from and dismantling these ways of working and doing business are essential.
3. I deeply know that our relations with the spirits, the cosmos, the collective, our relations, Creation, and ourselves are important parts that need to be considered in our work and business. Our soul’s work must include Divine Alignment because only in this way can we give and also receive in ways that create harmony and balance in our world.
4. I believe business in right relationship can be liberatory and we need more of us doing the work of collective healing and liberation so that we can be free to nurture our relations, Creation, and co-create a new paradigm. I actually disagree with the beliefs that state that business is harmful and that you cannot be decolonial and spiritual if you have a business.
5. I disagree with the rhetoric that states that you should be offering your work in a way that is “accessible”, but doesn't honor your needs. This is martyrdom and servitude and only transfers suffering, it does not end it. The truth is that collective healing and liberation must include us too. And, for us to co-create a new paradigm our work and businesses need to be sustainable and regenerative. As big as your heart is, you need to make money, you need to work in a way that honors your energetic and emotional capacity. This is not just about mindset, but about somatics, and processing the emotional, psychological, energetic layers & unlearning the colonial patriarchal programming that has us colluding with our own oppression. This is the guidance I offer to you.
To materialize the highest visions, our visionaries need to be resourced too.
It is time to dismantle the archaic models of work and business that encourage depletion & invite collusion.
It is time to shed the patriarchal narratives that are keeping us in hyperproductivity, martyrdom, and unwellness.
It is time to divest from the patriarchal frameworks that keeping us further and further away from a sacred pace.
Forcing yourself to work in hyperproductive, restrictive, transactional, dogmatic models of work and business harm you and those you serve.
Instead of complying, I invite you into exploring ways of working that honor your communities and all of you.
Work and business can align with the divine. Service does not have to equal servitude.
Let us remember a time where we are well, whole, resourced, and abundant so that we can birth the liberatory times we incarnated for and are all seeking.

Andean “Paqos” or shamans, healers, The maestros of the Inca Medicine School are ‘Keepers/Guardian’s of Pachamama or Mother Earth ‘, guardians that preserve life KAUSAY, masters that work together with the “Apus” or sacred mountains in Peru, and sacred spirits from the Cosmos, living a life based on the wisdom of love and respect to nature. They are a family of Master Paqo’s belonging to the “Chumpi Paqo” lineage from the Qero Nation – last Inca Ayllu in Cusco, Peru. They belong to the last Ayllu (group of families) nearby the Paititi the lost city of the Incas. The school is a commitment my teacher Don Alejandro Apaza made in honor of his ancestors, following the values and traditions of Andean culture and respecting native beliefs. They offer initiations and rites with heart and best intentions, with full permission of the Apasa Chumpi Paqo Family Lineage from the Qero Inca Nation. Marilu Shinn has held a private practice as a Shamanic Practitioner since 2012. Her formal training includes the Four Winds Society of Shamanic Studies as well as an ongoing apprenticeship with the Qero Medicine people of Peru. Her own healing journey brought her to embody the Ancient Wisdom Traditions of Peru & to share the Medicine & Beauty of this Lineage as a path towards Empowerment & Embodied living. Her mission & passion are to reconnect people with their Authentic Selves, to awaken their somatic awareness through Womb Wisdom Healing & Shamanic Energy Medicine Practices & to reconnect them with their innate capacity to heal and transform themselves as the foundations for leading fulfilling, whole lives. Marilu is a beloved sister & teacher who initiated me into the medicine woman path and will be teaching about honoring your energetic & financial needs even as a medicine person & the importance of honoring feminine energy in the way we work.
Danielle Cohen is a visibility coach & professional photographer with a unique talent for helping others step into and offer their greatest work. Kelly is a person that I have worked with intimately for about a year and a half and have learned from in terms of liberatory marketing and business. You are entering a sacred agreement. Please take the time to ensure that this offering is in alignment for you at this time. By entering this agreement, you are committing to being in right relationship with me and my work, and are committing to the entire duration of the program and making all payments.
You are asked to show up in right relation and integrity with me as the guide, and that includes honoring our agreements and payment as energy exchange. You understand that I am not a corporation and that this work is my livelihood and sole source of income for my family and thus paying is important to receive this offering.
There are no refunds or cancellations.
Please honor this as a sacred agreement. If you decide to stop participating before the course ends, you remain responsible for completing your payments in full.
To preserve the integrity of the peer relationships that get cultivated, and because there are specific trainings that stack upon each other, we cannot accept new members after intake closes.
